Our Story
Originally founded in 1996 by two tenacious brothers, our company has been a cornerstone of internet services in the Ridgecrest area for over twenty years. Starting as one of the pioneering dial-up service providers our mission was clear; to deliver unparalleled personal service. Our original slogan: “Putting Service Back Into Local Internet Access,” encapsulated this commitment.
Over the years, the landscape of internet services in Ridgecrest have evolved with many companies entering the market. However, we remain one of the few that continues to prioritize personalized customer service. As lifelong residents of Ridgecrest, our connection to this community runs deep. Serving our neighbors, friends, and family is a matter of pride and personal commitment for us.
We offer a comprehensive range of services for both residential and business customers including but not limited to: internet access, email, spam filtering, web hosting, and DNS services. With nine strategically located access points across Ridgecrest and Inyokern we ensure reliable service even in outlying areas lacking cable or fiber options.
Our customers can always count on personal direct in-person support. Whether you prefer to call or visit us at our office, we are always here to happily assist you. Providing exceptional service to Ridgecrest isn’t just our business—it’s our way of giving back to the community we have called home all our lives.
Access Points
At each access point location, we have strategically placed a tower that connects back to our office via a high-bandwidth backhaul link. These backhaul links are capable of handling all the traffic from the access points. Multiple access points are positioned around each tower to provide full 360-degree coverage. Our customers connect to the nearest access point based on their location relative to the tower.
We currently have three towers in the Inyokern and Brown Road areas, two towers south of town near the college, three towers west of town, and two towers within the town itself.
Meet the Team

Dan
Dan moved to Ridgecrest in 1962, attending high school in Ridgecrest, afterwards he would attend college in Los Angeles. After returning home, he worked as a mechanic buying the shop in 1986, while completely computerizing its invoice system. In 1996, Dan and his brother started an internet service business, alongside the mechanic shop until 2005. Dan would retire from mechanics in 2022 and now solely manages the internet service business, having built the network and installing most of the towers and access points.
Robert
Robert was born at home in Pearsonville, so to say he is a local is an understatement! Robert went to high school at Burroughs. He graduated from Cerro Coso with his Associates degree in 2010 and would graduate from UC Irvine in 2012. Shortly after graduation, Robert began working for IWVISP in 2012, where he has worked ever since. In his off time, Robert enjoys video games, hanging out with his rescue animals, and fishing!

Berlyn is a dedicated professional with over fifteen years of experience in administrative and customer services. She is known for her extreme professionalism and outstanding performance record. Berlyn holds an administrative certificate from Cerro Coso and stays current with industry trends. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband and three daughters!
